The Night Catchers
An original pastel by Yorkshire Artist Shaun Tymon
"While the quiet seaside streets settle down,
the little fishing boats head out of town,
bobbing around on a gentle wave,
they cast away to catch the food we crave.
Returning to town with the incoming tide,
with freshly caught seafood and big pot of pride."
Presented mounted in an off white mount with decorative V-groove detail, outer mount dimensions 30x40cm.
My name is Shaun Tymon, I'm a self taught artist from Hull, I've always enjoyed drawing, painting and creating things for as long as I can remember, most of my artwork is based on my childhood and memories of growing up on the streets in Hull in the 80's / 90's Hopefully that nostalgia comes through in my work, I'm forever thinking up little characters, most of which have symbolic meanings behind them, my little character 'Wreny' for example is a nod to my late father who sadly past away, he was a bird fanatic and so you won't find little Wreny more then a stones throw away from his partner in crime his little feather friend wren.
