Speed of Light
An original pastel by Yorkshire Artist Shaun Tymon
Shaun says "The perfect combination, a length of rope and a lamppost, sure kept us entertained for hours when I was younger, the worst part was waiting for your turn... biggest to smallest was the ranking order of course !"
My name is Shaun Tymon, I'm a self taught artist from Hull, I've always enjoyed drawing, painting and creating things for as long as I can remember, most of my artwork is based on my childhood and memories of growing up on the streets in Hull in the 80's / 90's Hopefully that nostalgia comes through in my work, I'm forever thinking up little characters, most of which have symbolic meanings behind them, my little character 'Wreny' for example is a nod to my late father who sadly past away, he was a bird fanatic and so you won't find little Wreny more then a stones throw away from his partner in crime his little feather friend wren.
Framed as shown on a 30x40cm black frame, with a black core white mount.
