All We Had
An original pastel by Yorkshire Artist Shaun Tymon
"A piece inspired by my late father, who had the incredible ability to gain trust and respect from nature, he cared for many different bird breeds over the years. He was in his own words, "infatuated with 'em", if his bods were fed and wattered, nothing else mattered."
My name is Shaun Tymon, I'm a self taught artist from Hull, I've always enjoyed drawing, painting and creating things for as long as I can remember, most of my artwork is based on my childhood and memories of growing up on the streets in Hull in the 80's / 90's Hopefully that nostalgia comes through in my work, I'm forever thinking up little characters, most of which have symbolic meanings behind them, my little character 'Wreny' for example is a nod to my late father who sadly past away, he was a bird fanatic and so you won't find little Wreny more then a stones throw away from his partner in crime his little feather friend wren.
Presented mounted in a black core white mount, outer mount dimensions 30x40cm.
