Silent Night, York Minster by Mark Braithwaite.
A print of York from Mark's atmospheric Silent Night Collection
One of the city's best views which is sometimes overlooked. Precentors Court is a tiny street which faces the west face of the Minster.
In the spring and summer the trees fill out to the left of the street obscuring the the Minster slightly, however in the winter the once the leaves have fallen off the trees you get a beautiful unhindered view of the Minster's west front.
Wraparound Canvas from Mark's atmospheric Silent Night collection
Mark applies several coats of giclee varnish to each canvas print, so the stretched canvas is ready to hang - it does not need glazing.
The image extends around the edge of the canvas so it can be displayed without further framing, for a contemporary finish.
We also have the stretched canvas framed, in a wide distressed black frame with a bronze inner slip, if you prefer a more traditional presentation.
The stretched canvas be only be shipped via a fragile courier service, or collected from the Gallery in York.
Prints on paper in several sizes are also available - these are listed separately.
