Betty's Travels 18: Somewhere Under the Rainbow by Mark Braithwaite
The City Walls, York
Introducing Betty, who likes sightseeing with her friends. She tours the land, bringing a little colour to brighten the day, blissfully unaware of the attention she attracts as she gets mistaken for another, more famous Betty....
Here, Betty and the Colonel take a stroll around York's city walls with a colourful umbrella. Did you know that this tower on the city wall is called Bitchdaughter Tower? There was a particularly unpleasant prison housed in the tower on the inside of the wall!
Triple mounted; top mount in textured snow white, with a pin line of black underneath and framed as shown in a distressed black frame, approximate outer dimensions 40x40cm.
