Peter Brook, RBA 1927-2009
Peter was known as 'The Pennine Landscape painter.' He included himself and his dog in many of his images.
His images are delightful in their simplicity and innocence. A lone man, walking his dog along the road on a wintry day, and a sign warning of a road blocked ahead. One can feel the silence and the cold and the sense of this being a well-trodden route; a daily routine.
