Local artist Janine Lees has released her exciting new collection of Special Edition Prints. Available in four unique designs: Octopus; Jellyfish; Crab and Lobster, each giclee print is hand finished in luxurious gold-leaf, making them all completely unique. Print run strictly limited to 100.
Inspired by colours found on the island of Mallorca, cool shades of the sea such as vibrant turquoise, indigo-blues and seaweed-greens can be seen in the Octopus and Jellyfish prints. Rich warm hues of peaches, pinks and corals found the Crab and Lobster prints, mirror sun-scorched terracotta tiles typically seen on white-washed villas.
A combination of watercolour paints with added salt crystals give a unique grainy appearance due to the natural separation process. Paints are loosely applied to give a watery-effect with a fine wash of drips and spatters. Each painting is then overlaid in shimmering gold-leaf to give a stunningly luxurious 3D effect. The finishing touch to these opulent hand embellished prints is a layer of glossy UV varnish over the golden areas for extra shine

Each limited edition giclée is presented in an white single mount, and is signed and numbered by the artist.
