Neighbours, by Peter Brook, RBA 1927-2009
Peter was known as 'The Pennine Landscape painter.' He included himself and his dog in many of his images.
His subjects are delightful in their simplicity and innocence. In this image we see two red barn doors, side by side, each with a dog’s face peering out from an available gap. Do they communicate or simply each watch the world go by?
This mounted print is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity which reads:
