We asked Sam to create a piece which would complement 'We Have All We Need' - our favourite ever Sam Toft artwork, focusing on the timeless love between Ernest & Violet (and Doris the Jack Russell of course). We were absolutely thrilled with the resulting artwork 'More Than Words Can Say' which has been published in December 2024 as a limited edition print.
Ernest is sharing his ice cream, complete with flake and strawberry sauce (no 99-er cone would be complete without, would it?) with his good lady, Violet. We suspect Doris may demand her share too. Was there ever a truer sign of affection? Lady Vi is looking mightily splendid in her best headscarf and favourite red coat.
The print is EXCLUSIVE to the gallery until the end of January, at which point it will become available elsewhere.
Limited to 150 fine art limited edition prints + 15 artist's proofs, 'More Than Words Can Say' is printed on 300gsm fine art paper; each print is individually signed by Sam and supplied with a certificate of authenticity from publisher Collier Dobson.
Mounted in a conservation quality off-white mount, with v-groove detail, and supplied acetate wrapped.
