King's Staithe by Mark J Braithwaite
Showing the River Ouse flowing underneath Ouse Bridge in the heart of York; the infamous public house The Kings Arms can be seen on the right nestling by the bridge.
The Kings Arms is underwater every time York floods (you'll no doubt have seen it on the news - it's quite a sight to behold!) - testament to the resilience of Yorkshire folk, they're back open again, often within hours of the flood water receding!
King's Staithe is available in two formats:
A litho print on paper presented in a 12" x 18" antique white mount;
A larger giclée print on watercolour paper, presented double mounted, with approximate dimensions - image size 307x162mm and outer mount dimensions 456x306mm
Each print has been personally hand signed by artist M.J. Braithwaite.
