Jack-o'-Lantern
An original pastel by Yorkshire Artist Shaun Tymon
"Kids these days will never know the determination, grit, and pure dedication it took to hollow out a turnip for Halloween. Thank god I had a big brother to do mine for me! Used to ache my arms just watching him 🙂"
My name is Shaun Tymon, I'm a self taught artist from Hull, I've always enjoyed drawing, painting and creating things for as long as I can remember, most of my artwork is based on my childhood and memories of growing up on the streets in Hull in the 80's / 90's Hopefully that nostalgia comes through in my work, I'm forever thinking up little characters, most of which have symbolic meanings behind them, my little character 'Wreny' for example is a nod to my late father who sadly past away, he was a bird fanatic and so you won't find little Wreny more then a stones throw away from his partner in crime his little feather friend wren.
Presented mounted in a black core white mount, outer mount dimensions 30x40cm.
