About the Artist
Originally a water colourist, Mark’s most recent discovery of oil now provides the perfect medium to capture mood and atmosphere. Living on the outskirts of Sheffield, Mark gains inspiration from the rugged landscape and changing skies of the Peak District. In contrast his love for the Isles of Scilly, again often depicted in paint, reflects the white sands, blue seas and sheer tranquility of the beautiful Isles.
