Looking After Eachother is a very special piece created for the Gallery by lovely Sam Toft. Sam specially re-marqued Artist's Proof number 1 of 40 with lots of little illustrations next to the title and signature.
We raffled Artist's Proof ONE and raised £1470 for Mind; the winner was Julia, from York.
The raffle has now ended however you can still donate £10 to the Mind fundraiser through this page!
Congratulations to Julia, and THANK YOU to everyone who made this fundraiser a success - especially artist Sam Toft, Philip Collier of publisher Collier & Dobson, YDL Distribution & Logistics and of course Sam's legion of fans.
You can still buy limited edition prints of the picture for £135.
Gallery director Anne Braithwaite has been fundraising throughout 2020 for mental health charity Mind, in memory of her son Jake, who died in 2018.
If you've been following Sam on social media, Sam posted the work in progress as 'A picture for Jake.'
Don't you just love the way Sam creates new words... 'eachother' could be a whole new concept after this strange year of lockdown.
