Adam's artwork provides nostalgic memories of growing up in the 1970s and 80s in an urban landscape.
Here the fish & chip van stops underneath a telegraph pole on the housing estate. The local kids turn up with coins to pay for their dinner wrapped in newspaper, whilst a dog pinches the left overs.
How many memories does this bring back? Looking cool on your red chopper bike? The red phone box on the street corner where you'd take a pocket full of 2p coins to ring your nan. Brown flares, and mustard coloured t-shirts - weren't they the colours of the '70s? Pinafore dresses and white knee length socks? Did your mum give your hair a basin cut or an ever so slightly too long mullet?
This print is hand finished and framed in black as shown. Glazing is not required.
