A charming limited edition on paper from artist Anthony Marn.
Anthony's work has a vintage feel reminiscent of the charm of Beatrix Potter's wildlife sketches. In 'Cheese & Piccalilli' a trio of tiny mice have found a tasty treat for dinner - a big chunk of Stilton with a rather scrumptious accompaniment of grapes and pickle.
Anthony was born in Manchester in 1963. He now lives with his family on the edge of the Pennines in the North of England.
He works exclusively in oils, which gives him the freedom to explore use of light and colour. He has been painting for the best part of 25 years, and has had several successful one man exhibitions. His work recently featured on television, on the BBC's hit show, 'Show Me The Monet.'
'Cheese & Piccalilli' is published as a limited edition of just 50 prints on paper, each signed, numbered and titled by the artist.
