A Damp Start
An original pastel by Yorkshire Artist Shaun Tymon
"There's nothing better for the soul
than an early morning autumn stroll.
Squelching through tracks left in the mud,
we spot a bunny and both we stood,
his ears go up and his nose starts to twitch,
come here lad you'll end up in the ditch."
My name is Shaun Tymon, I'm a self taught artist from Hull, I've always enjoyed drawing, painting and creating things for as long as I can remember, most of my artwork is based on my childhood and memories of growing up on the streets in Hull in the 80's / 90's Hopefully that nostalgia comes through in my work, I'm forever thinking up little characters, most of which have symbolic meanings behind them, my little character 'Wreny' for example is a nod to my late father who sadly past away, he was a bird fanatic and so you won't find little Wreny more then a stones throw away from his partner in crime his little feather friend wren.
Presented mounted in an off white mount with a decorative V-groove detail, outer mount dimensions 30x40cm.
