A Busy Yorkshire Day
An original pastel by Yorkshire Artist Shaun Tymon
" Like tiny ants weaving their way through the streets, the crowds flock into every nook and cranny, crammed in queues like sardines in a tin - it’s complete organised chaos, but we wouldn’t have it any other way, just another busy day in Yorkshire!"
Presented mounted in an off white mount with decorative V-groove detail, outer mount dimensions 30x40cm.
My name is Shaun Tymon, I'm a self taught artist from Hull, I've always enjoyed drawing, painting and creating things for as long as I can remember, most of my artwork is based on my childhood and memories of growing up on the streets in Hull in the 80's / 90's Hopefully that nostalgia comes through in my work, I'm forever thinking up little characters, most of which have symbolic meanings behind them, my little character 'Wreny' for example is a nod to my late father who sadly past away, he was a bird fanatic and so you won't find little Wreny more then a stones throw away from his partner in crime his little feather friend wren.
