The Braithwaite Gallery was founded in York city centre in 2000 by husband and wife team Mark and Anne Braithwaite.
Mark Braithwaite is our original York Artist. Mark is well known for painting views of our beautiful city, and can often be found painting on location in York.
We work with many talented artists with a diverse range of styles and subjects, and hope to have something to suit all tastes!

Very nice prints with frames,
I wanted to order two prints Gosheafoc and Kestrel (Bird of Prey) by Nicola Gillyon, but needed them framed with AR70 glass. “No problem,” replied Helen.
The frames arrived, and the glass is almost invisible. I can now comfortably hang them opposite a window and still enjoy the artwork without light reflections or shadows.
