The Braithwaite Gallery was founded in York city centre in 2000 by husband and wife team Mark and Anne Braithwaite.
Mark Braithwaite is our original York Artist. Mark is well known for painting views of our beautiful city, and can often be found painting on location in York.
We work with many talented artists with a diverse range of styles and subjects, and hope to have something to suit all tastes!

I absolutely love my new beneath the sheets print of Bedern. It's by far my favourite one yet. Just so full of colour and when you put the uv light on it is truly magical. So much to see, so many ghosts 👻

Love the print of the Little Heavyweights. I also have a print of The Heavyweights by Warwick Higgs. Love his work, especially as I was born in East Africa and grew up with these beauties.
